JAX'd Up Bourbon BBQ Sauce


  • ½ cup your favorite bourbon, sometimes more!

  • 1 stick butter

  • 4 cloves garlic finely chopped

  • 1cup onion rough chop

  • 2 cups ketchup

  • ⅓ cup white vinegar

  • ¾ cup black strap molasses

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup tomato paste

  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tbsp Jax’d up All Purpose Seasoning


  1. In a large sauce pan combine butter, onion, worcestershire, and garlic. Saute until onions are translucent. Add Brown Sugar and once thickened slightly add bourbon

  2. Stir in all remaining ingredients Bring to a slow boil, then reduce heat and simmer on low heat uncovered for 20-30 minutes.

  3. Brush onto meat, poultry, or seafood of your choice for grilling.

  4. Use immediately or store in refrigerator for up to one week.
